Fadeaway wins Golden Egg Award at Reykjavik International Film Festival
My short film Fadeaway won the Golden Egg Award at the Reykjavik International Film Festival as the best film in its category. The jury said that:
It is a well-crafted and powerful film about a man at a difficult crossroads. The filmmaking is professional, and the style is marked by confidence and effortlessness. The acting is very strong and highly convincing. Fadeaway is well made in every respect and portrays the protagonist’s state of mind and emotions in a moving and painful way.
This is my first major international film award, and I am so grateful to the jury, the other members of the talent lab, and the lab’s facilitators and guests, for an extraordinary world premiere in Iceland.
